Students Under Attack

When an old acquaintance of my mom came over for a visit, I was the one that served them some snacks. They chatted for hours about different things and I even heard them talk about sun screens and the likes. How women can talk like that for a very long time is beyond my comprehension. They really seem to enjoy the time together so I left them alone and left the house for a walk.

I was only a few meters away from our house when my friend called me over. He was trying to install one of those retractable awnings and it seems that he is having a hard time. I came over and asked him if he needed some help. He said that he will need all the help that he can get. After an hour or two we managed to successfully install it. He thanked me and I hurried home afterwards. The friend of my mom was about to leave and I was just in time to send her off. She asked me to help her prepare dinner and we waited for dad to arrive so that we can all eat together.

My husband is a great father and a great partner to me for twenty years now.  All I want is to give him a weekend treat to a place where we can both relax.  I started to look for a place that we haven’t gone to but for sure we’d both love. I researched on the web and found some places that are quite alluring for a weekend getaway. Why not go to Hawaii or Maldives. That would be a great idea.

There’s no denying that we are both sea persons, we love to dive, fish and enjoy the beach.  It is our solace. I decided on going to Hawaii. But I have to sell old silver dollar for the plane tickets. When my husband knew about it, he was so happy and so excited. He even told me I need not sell silver just to get the tickets, and that he can pay for it.  But I said to him, that what’s most important is the way I am making him feel. We both can’t wait to take that trip and get a good vacation.
