Students Under Attack

The girls pajamas that I just washed, have some sort of sticky thing on them. I cannot figure out what it is and in fact since the only other thing that has the sticky stuff on it is the infant pajamas that I just pulled out of the storage closet to get ready for my pregnant sister to come over and pick up.

I called my sister and told her to go to the store and get some of the stain remover that takes gum off of clothing before she came here. I do not think that anyone had gum in their pockets, but that is the only thing that I can think that this stuff looks like.

If the stain remover can get this stuff off then I will not have to throw the girls pajamas and the infant pajamas away. It is possible that if the stains stay on, I can treat them and then wash them a few more times but that would be the end of working on them for me. My sister might feel differently and is welcome to take the sticky pajamas and work on them herself to see if there is anything else that might work.

The safety supplies that we had in a box in the basement, got wet in the flood. I was hoping that they might have somehow wound up on a shelf or something but they did not. I went down to assess the damage and see what we lost and found that there was more on the floor than I had originally thought. In fact, we lost more than safety supplies, there were a few janitorial supplies on the floor too and since they were paper products, they are ruined.

The janitorial supplies that are kept in plastic bottles were all on high shelves and the paper products were on the floor. If it had been the other way around then it would have saved us a lot of clean up time and money for replacements that we have to come up with now.

I contacted my safety supplies company and informed them of what had happened and let them know that as soon as the insurance company gave me a check, that I would need everything replaced that they had sold us over the last year. I then contacted the janitorial supplies company and informed them of the same thing, only I would just need to get the paper products and let them know that everything else was fine.

She said that spaces were filling up fast and if we wanted in, we should get on the list. I faxed over the specifics and they told me that they thought it looked good and they might even want in on the deal. So, I called my media saleslady back and bowed down gracefully and informed her to give us a spot and that she would also be getting a call from an award winning design Raleigh NC web company that wants in too.

Our media project was an additional twenty percent off of the sales price since we gave them a referral and everyone’s projects turned out great. We cannot wait till the next big sale to do it again.
