Students Under Attack

My five year old son typed sell old silver dollar into the search engine on the internet and waited to see just how much he could get for the rare silver dollar that he had found at the park. I was not holding my breath that it would be much, but it sure was old and usually old coins are worth something.

Now, we only had to decide if we wanted to sell it or hold onto it and see if it increased in value of the next few years.

I have always wanted to go behind the scenes and see exactly how a custom website design company comes up with all the great ideas they have for all the sites they put together. I would think that they not only have to be extremely computer and tech savvy, but also somewhat of an artistic person.

I knew that we had been using the local discount office supplies store for years and I think that we all thought we were getting great deals but this was not the case. The old office supply company that we used would not deliver without adding a fifty dollar trip charge to our bill and it was just easier to hand one of my employees ten dollars to have them drive the five minutes to the store and pick up the order. I was looking forward to the two hundred dollar a month savings that my secretary found.

I have to call and check on the delivery time for my new iron doors, the iron gate came yesterday and my landscapers installed it in no time. I am hoping that the installation of the iron doors goes just as quickly since I have a dinner party scheduled to start at six tonight.

My contractor has assured me that as long as they do not run into any issues with removing the old doors and the new iron doors are the right size, that he will be finished with the installation in less than two hours.

I scheduled the delivery for nine this morning, but since the iron gate was delivered two hours late yesterday, I want to be assured that it will not happen with the doors. I would be mortified if my guests start arriving and they have to be directed to come in the back door if the new iron doors are not properly installed in time. I have told everyone about the new additions I am making and they are all looking forward to seeing them. I have a feeling that after they see how nice my iron gate looks with the new iron doors they might even consider having some installed at their house.

For three years now I have been using the same dell repair company and have never had any problems with them till now. I called to have them write up a work order to fix my poweredge servers like they have done many times before. This time, the woman who I talked, to must have been new or something and she asked me not to send the poweredge serves today because they were backed up with repairs.

I hung up the phone and just stood there thinking that I must have not heard her correctly and so I tried back and got a different operator. I explained that I had used their dell repair service many times before and that I once again needed my servers to be fixed and then sent back. The operator that I had on the line at the time helped me with the work order and then asked me if I had any other questions.

I proceeded to tell him all about the woman that I had spoken with earlier and how she had asked me not to send the poweredge servers today because they were backed up and had lots of other repairs. He was dumbfounded and told me that he was very sorry and would make sure to find out who did that and take care of the problem right away.
