Students Under Attack

I hired my thirteen year old nephew to handle some organic SEO services on some of my customer’s sites. He had worked for me over the summer and had learned a lot during that time. I had recently had a rush of orders come in and I could not keep up with all of them. I knew that he would be starting fall break at the end of the week and asked him if he wanted to make a little extra money doing some SEO marketing for me.

My nephew agreed and I sent him all the information on the sites that he would be working on and he went to work. I was rather impressed with his speed; I could never keep up with him and the hours that he sits at the computer. He finished four of the organic SEO services jobs in two days and he only had one more to go before he had to get back to school.

I timed the last SEO marketing job that he did since I could see from my computer that he was in the back end of it working. It took him four hours to complete it and I know that it would have taken me at least seven to get it down. He is going to be a doctor, but I wish that he would go into web building and take over my business.

Sometimes when you get to talk directly to a guy who knows all about the internet and website marketing, a lot of what they say can go directly over your head. I for one would always avoid this kind of conversation so that I did not feel inferior.

I had the chance recently to talk with one of the best internet marketing men of our time, his name is Danny DeMichele. He was more down to earth than I ever thought that he would be. I of course avoided talking too much about what he did and tried to steer the conversation towards the news and sports.

Danny DeMichele had other ideas and asked me if I was in on the internet craze. I had to then respond by telling him that I had a small site that did a little bit of business but not enough to quit my day job. His face came alive when he realized that he could help me. I was afraid that he was going to start giving me a list of computer things to do to my site to improve it but instead he explained in normal terms what I might want to try and he offered to help me for three months free of charge, so that I could test out his system.

The interior painters in Reading PA called to offer me a special that they are having this month. They realize that many people have family that comes to visit over the holidays and that repainting can spruce up a guest room. I thought about it for a couple of days, and then called the interior painters in Reading PA back to take them up on their offer.

I had not thought too much about how the guest room looked until I got that call but after taking a good long look at it, I realized that it did look a little drab. I asked the interior painters if they could just choose a color that would be warm and inviting, since I had no idea which one to go with. I knew that I would probably have to buy all new bedding after they finished to match, but since that was old too, I did not mind.

The color that the interior painters chose was a light warm chocolate brown. It made the room feel much homier than it was before when it just had stark white walls. I chose a teal and brown colored bedding set and it really tied the whole thing together. I think that my parents will feel very much at home in this room when they come to visit in a few days.

The day my husband came home and told me that he had found our dream house, I was very excited. We had been living in a one bedroom apartment for three years, and it was very small and crowded. I asked him to take me to see it, and he did. When we pulled up to the house that had pink shutters and old composite slider windows that were barely hanging onto the house, I cried.

After my crying episode was over, my husband explained that he had already taken care of the repairs that would have to be made, and he had even paid all of the necessary contractors to do them. The repairs were to start in a week. I was really hoping that he had been smart enough to have chosen to put in all brand new vinyl casement windows in place of the old composite slider windows. He assured me that he had chosen just that.

He then told me that the roof was going to be replaced along with new vinyl siding installed. He had chosen to go with white vinyl siding, knowing how much I like the clean look of white. I was so happy, I was just ready to see all of the work be completed and then be able to move in.

I drove to the house the day they removed the old nasty windows and installed my new vinyl casement windows and started to put on the white siding. I also cried that day because it was starting to look like a home instead of a house.

Out of the six Colorado roofing contractors that bid on my project, only two of them could produce papers to prove that they have insurance. I thought that this was pretty much standard among contractors these days. I guess that I was wrong or someone should inform the other four Colorado roofing contractors that it is.

I am not looking forward to having to choose between the two highest bidders. The reason that I had six different contractors give me bids is because I knew that one of them would be lots lower than all the rest. The lowest guy told me that he has never had insurance.

The bids for the vinyl siding contractors are due in tomorrow, I hope that it goes better than the roofing bids. I am thinking of having my secretary call all of the vinyl siding contractors and let them know that if they cannot produce proof of insurance, then there is no need for them to turn in their bids at all.

There is no way that I can only end up with two good bids for the vinyl siding or I may have to reopen the bids to contractors from neighboring counties to ensure a good low bid, and one that has proof of insurance.
