Students Under Attack

We had to call four different companies before we found one that specialized in water damage repair. Somehow last night, our water heater drained completely out all over the basement and when we discovered it after work, it was too late to try and save most of the drywall and furniture that were down there. I wanted to just cry, but my husband made a joke about me doing it, to finally get some new furniture that I had been wanting.

I figured that as soon as the water damage repair company came out and assessed the damage, I could go ahead and hit the furniture store to order some new pieces that I had my eye on earlier this spring. I would of course never ruin my old furniture to get new furniture but was looking forward to getting it anyway.

When we put in vinyl replacement windows this last winter, we knew that any other home improvements would have to wait for at least a couple of years and that included the furniture. Since this will be covered under our home owner’s insurance policy, we got vinyl replacement windows and a new basement all in the same year.

I was lucky enough to get their card before they finished the work, so that I can call and have them redo my master bathroom. I have put it off long enough and am just going to have it done, so that my master bathroom becomes what I have always dreamed it could be. I want a garden tub and a separate stand up shower. I want the double sinks that are so popular these days.

The bathroom design St. Petersburg Fl company has promised to give me a discount since two other people have called them after I gave them their name. My neighbor and my brother are both having them do work for them. If the discount is as big as I think it might me, then I will be able to have the granite countertops put it that I am not sure I could afford any other way.

I have some other bathroom cabinets St. Petersburg company’s name and number that I also heard were really good, but with the discount that I am getting, I hope that my remodel comes in way under what I have saved for it.
