Students Under Attack

While out on a walk through the neighborhood with my dog, I noticed a company that seemed to be doing some wood siding restoration. I did not know that you could do that, I just thought that if you had issues with your wood siding, that you just covered it with vinyl and hid the problems.

I went home and typed restore wood siding and learned all about how it is done and even checked out a couple of company’s websites that are in the area that do it. One of the companies that do it, also do paver restoration and I am thinking that I need to call them soon before my husband rips out all the pavers in my back yard because they look dirty and he does not like them.

If I can get the paver restoration done while he is at work, then he will come home to a completely different back yard and not feel as though he needs to change anything. I can only hope that they can help me and that the estimate will be affordable. If not, I will have to show my husband and have him compare the price of restoring the pavers, to replacing them with new ones and see which one is lower.

I really have wanted to take time off from work, to just go shopping but my case load is crazy. Instead, I am thinking of acting like I am working at my desk and having an online shopping day. If I close my door, then no one will bother me. I figure that if I can get a few pairs of Hogan shoes and a couple of Prada handbags then I will feel like my mission is complete.

I figured that Wednesday would be a good day to do my shopping, since that is usually the day that my boss takes off after lunch. I would work until lunchtime, and then close my door and shop for the Hogan shoes first and when that was completed, turn my attention to the Prada handbags.

I was thinking of letting my secretary in on the whole shopping thing, but she would just want to hang out in my office and shop also. I think that maybe one of us needs to be productive on Wednesday. I may buy her some sort of Prada accessory though, and then I will not feel as guilty for not letting her in on my little secret. I think that she has probably done a little shopping lately anyway, since she is always getting stuff delivered here to the office.

I was just happy to think that we would be saving money on our heating and cooling bills since I thought they were way too high.

As soon as the new vinyl windows were installed, I could tell a difference in the heating bill. The month before, it had been about an additional hundred dollars. If I can save that much in just one month, then I will be happy to tell everyone about the Chicago replacement windows company that we hired.
