I’ve always had a knack for the classics! Meaning to say, I like to travel and visit places where history has made a mark. That’s why over spring; I decided to take a tour around the city of Galena, IL together with my boyfriend.

Luckily, my boyfriend has the same interest as I do with antiques so deciding for the perfect Galena bed and breakfast place was easy. In small talks over Galena, IL I’d often hear people commend Ryan’s Mansion as the Galena bed and breakfast hotel to stay at, so out of curiosity we nonchalantly made our reservations there.

We both fell in love with the place the moment we got there! The staff was very nice and assisted with everything and anything that we needed to know for our first tour of Galena. The three nights that we had at the mansion was spent marveling over its old style furniture and nature. It was the perfect complement for a trip to a historical city!
