That was the best Christmas I had all my life.  It was maybe because after 20 years, my father and mother decided that they were still in love with each other after the divorce 20 years ago.  They had their second wedding on that day as well.

I work as a Customer Service Representative and we do not close even on special holidays.  I am able to attend the wedding earlier that day and had to do my shift.  My supervisor allowed me to have a half day off.  She understands why I need to be with my parents this Christmas Holiday.  After all, I spend all of my 4 previous Christmas at work.

My car did not start when I turned it on.  I tried starting the engine several times but it was as if there was no electricity inside the engine.  The guard told me to call the shop that did foreign transmission repair – my car was a Honda Civic.  I was not sure if they were around but I did try anyway.  I was amazed that they would do service even Christmas.

The mechanic came and did a diagnostic on my car.  In less than an hour, he was able to do transmission repair service on my car.  I was so thankful to him and invited him for a hot meal in my parent’s house.  He declined knowing that there were still people out who needed their assistance.
